Apply a small amount of product to the cavity and around gum surrounding the teeth. Use up to 4 times daily.
Can this be bought over the counter?
Yes.
Children under the age of 2 should not use product.
Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a doctor.
Stop using and ask a doctor if irritation, pain and redness do not go away.
Stop using if swelling, rash or fever develops.
Do not use this product if you have a history of allergies to anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other “caine” anesthetics.
Use of this product may cause methemoglobinemia, a serious condition that must be treated promptly.
Stop use and seek immediate attention if pale, grey or blue colored skin develops.
Stop use and seek immediate attention if headache, rapid heart rate, shortness of breath, dizziness or lightheadedness, fatigue or lack of energy develop.
