What is it used for?  

Used alone or together with other medicines to treat high blood pressure (Hypertension). It is also used to treat heart failure and to improve survival after a heart attack

How does it work?

It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, this lowers your blood pressure and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body
